i just found out today, while looking for recipes (been rather obsessed with baking recently, even though i dont even have an oven LOL)
and then one of the ingredients for chocolate cake, was MAYONNAISE!!!
shocking. who uses mayo in choc cake?!
but anyway, a quick google search showed me it was perfectly fine and normal to do that, because mayo is actually made of eggs, oil and vinegar. so you can actually sub mayo for eggs and oil in baking cakes!
that's so cool. i wanna try it out now!
and the cake above looks so good. i love these simple basic chocolate cakes, with a coating of good chocolate over it, and absolutely no decorations/mousse. i ordered one from awfullychocolate before, and it was really good! (:
